Default Blow off Valve sounds like this

Driving this morning i noticed that my blow off valve was sounding off longer than usual i am wondering was this because of the chicago cold, its staying open longer from what ive been reading in the posts today im looking for guidance from my boys at scionlife

Very possible that tbe vacuum hose connected to the bov has a slit or cut an it somewhere....

Loss of vacuum to the bov will make it do that

i know its not as cold up here in CO but my bov hasnt had that problem. you might want to check your lines. altho i could see it staying open if there is condensation in the diaphram

My BOV had slow response and would stick a little at light throttle input. I cleaned and oiled it, made it good as new. TurboSmart recommends cleaning and inspecting every six months.
