So earlier today, I had a remote start "python 1400XP" installed in the tC. Well when the car is running on the remote start the parking lights flash, is their any one who can tell me the programming procedure on how to make them stay on constantly? This would be a big help, as I really don't want to travel a hour just have have someone program it really quickly.

I will be honest, the easiest thing is to plug a bit-writer up to it but I will take it that you don't have one and will probably have to drive an hour to the place that installed it however the instructions below won't be any easier.

You 1st have to find your 1400XP brain, i.e., most likely underneath the dash zip tied up.

Next you will have to find the valet switch coming off the 1400XP which is a push button switch.

I will stop there for the moment.

The reason I will stop is because you need to see if they even attached the valet switch, typically unless specifically requested installers may not. If it is there let me know, if not then you will need a bit writer.

The option to switch the parking lights from pulsed to constant is in Menu #3, Feature #4.

Sorry I forgot I posted this thread here, I got it taken care of, they didn't leave the valet switch. So I took it back and had them program it, and also set the run time for 60 minutes and hook up the horn trigger.
