Part of my floor mat on the driver's side is torn (I have the all weather ones). Since the carpet part pops out, I was wondering if anyone has tried replacing it. The driver's side does have that extra piece of rubber on it though, so I'm not sure if this is possible. I'd hate to pay 90 bucks for a new set. Any ideas?

looks like you'll have to dish out for a new set. toyota doesn't sell the carpet part separately.

i'm guessing you're from CA? why even use the carpet part? I haven't used my carpet sections. both side are brand new sitting in my garage.

I know Toyota doesn't sell just replacement carpet for the mats, but since the whole carpet area is removable anyways, I figured it might be possible to just cut a piece to size?
Yes, I am in CA. I use the carpet sections because I don't like the way it looks or feels without it.

 

Like you said, it'd be easy to cut a piece to size. It would be a little bit tricker to implement the plastic foot rest in the middle of the driver side, but it gives you another opportunity to personalize your ride. Different color carpet piece?
