sc air box problem

Default sc air box problem

so i was looking at the air box and it seems the 2 inside clips wont stay clip on is anyone else having this problem? should i take it back to the dealer make them fix it? i tried clipping it on but darn thing keeps popping right off it just doesnt wanna stay hook on

Everything on mine is flush. I think it just bounces off from the engine vibration. The fix is two strips of electrical tape.

I used two wood screws and fastened my box down. No joke. Mechanics laugh at it.

I had the same problem when I had my tC. I bought a K&N panel filter, which seemed to stop the problem. I still have that filter sitting in a box upstairs, let me know if you want it.

mayn that air box is a _____ to open up its such in a tight area. once i had it off its hard to put the cover back on. my top cover end up getting stuck and push up agains the fender. now the air box is all scratch up. i went hulk mode to try and get it unstuck. stupid clips near the supercharger gets in the way. o yea i got 1 side to latch on still couldnt get the one right next to the supercharger to hook damn thing keeps popping off i give up ill just have that side not latch on all the way

make sure the top of the box is covering the whole filter cuz on mine i have the trd hi-flow and if the top part dont cover the whole filter it wont snap on.
