So the past weekend i go out on a trip and left my car home. Well during that time my dad decided to take it out one night and gets pulled over. The cops claimed that the exhaust is extremely loud and needs to be removed and my tint was to dark. Weird part was that i never got a repair order for my tint but got a ticket for no front plate.

I have a greddy ti-c axel back with stock headers and stock down pipe and mid pipe. I was wondering if anyone in maryland was ever pulled over for their exhaust? I personally think its bull ____ cause my dad would have never gone over 3k rpm and the exhaust isent loud at that range.

any axleback is under 98 dB, so you can fight it

 

header with that exhaust is indeed loud.......no reason for cop not to pull a car over for that amount of noise it puts out........I got rid of mine as it was too loud and put on a Apexi Ti and it is quieter.....not much but a little.

 

that is funny, my exhaust is epically loud, being that it is a weapon-r header and full 3 inch custom made exhaust, and it is flat out rediculous, i only occasionally go to rockville though for bussiness with our rockville mamma lucia's, and i haven't been stopped once for it.

haha nice screenname Im not sure what to recommend in this situation cause every state is somewhat different as far as exhaust goes, but if its THAT loud its gonna get unwanted attention. either way :/ laws suck

 

its rated under the 98db sound level requirement. thats a US law regulation so that part is not gonna change.

 

switch it out for the stock one and fight it and be like there car profiling you. or you can say there racist and that pretty much wins everytime with the judge.
