The differences between the 05-06 and the latter model years has been discussed endlessly. Search next time.

The 05-06 engine uses a different MAF than the 07-09 engine. You'll need an MAF adapter.

I'm not sure what you searched and I'm not sure what you exactly you're looking for but everything physically, other than the MAF, connects the same. The other difference is the exhaust manifold and it gets replaced anyway.

Used kit for $2000 that you need to put $350 for injectors into. So $2350 and no warranty on anything. Plus you still have to screw with modding the intake....To each their own! I would just consider dropping another $1300 and getting a new Dezod S1 kit with warranty, all parts, no mods required.

Anyway, to answer your original question, you will need to modify or create a new intake with the correct MAF plate for the 07-09. The 05-06 tC MAF is different and will not fit the 07-09.

The engine management requires a new harness for the 07-09 due to pin-out differences and connector changes

Plus you do not know the condition of the turbo or anything! If it's toasted, now you're adding another $750 or so. Now that new kit is less than $600 away..........Got to weigh these factors when cheapening out.

i had a friend who is more familiar with turbos come wit me and looked at it he said the turbo itself is fine nothing wrong and has no shaft play

in his opinion everything with the kit is fine and for the price it wasnt such a bad deal and if something is wrong ill still get it but wont put it in right away but instead rebuild the entire kit im not sure

paul so u dont think it'll be a good idea to get it?

No offense but paul's response is going to biased, he sells new kits. Mine is probably too considering i am selling a used one, that i am sure is working perfectly I know this b/c i had turbonetics check my turbo and they its working perfectly , i need money and that my reason for selling it, personally you need to evaluate this yourself.

There are arguments in either direction. This is very true.

Im with Paul on this one. Turbos need seals every so many miles, and who knows how this turbo was maintained, if it had proper cool down/warm up times, and if the oil was changed at the right intervals. Also when you get the new kit, all your parts are fresh and you know you wont be missing any hardware. Less headaches, and you know your car will run great for years to come.

If it's an 05-06 kit, it comes with the unichip which won't work on your 09. So, add new management to your list and you are better off buying a different kit.
