You have a pinched copper connection. When the temp gets cold enough the copper wire contracts just enough to separate the connection... when the area heats up, the copper reconnects. It's simple to diagnose, hard to isolate where the problem actually is though.
The easiest way to fix this issue is to trace the wire back through the harnesses and replace the problematic wires.

The wire connecting to the voicecoil from the pos/neg terminals. If the terminals are grounding out at all, you will hear pops in colder weather from the change in copper. Try pulling the speaker out of the door and see if there are any more pops like you mentioned.
