How much worse are 205/50-16 compared to 185/60-15 for ride?

Default How much worse are 205/50-16 compared to 185/60-15 for ride?

Am I going to notice a much harsher ride?

Little bit , but not alot.
I have one set in each size and don't notice a big difference .
Except for one set of RR tracks , but I have seen big rigs slow down for that particular set. :D

I go from a 185/60 in winter to a 195/50 for summer and I don't really notice a significant change. Maybe big potholes and railroad crossings, but you should be slowing down for those anyway.

i would think it depends on how low you are and how low the offset id on your wheels.

i run 195/50/16 on an 8" wheel with a 15mm offset + ive got my coilovers bottomed out.
i had to space out the front fenders, -3 camber in the rear and rolled the rear fenders to keep from rubbin.

i always slow down for anything that could cause a problem.
ive never blown a tire or bent a wheel so i guess im doin ok
