How much to install TRD Springs at toyota.
I have heard so many outrageous prices i wanted to know if anyone knew the exact cost. I want it done right. I could do it myself, but i dont want the allignment all ____ed up. Any info on the topic please share. Im getting TRD Springs, I know there are better springs out there but i cant have to low of a drop due to my drive way and wear i live.
dont go to a dealership man. have a buddy help you. they charge an arm and a leg. youre going to have to get a 4 wheel alignment after the springs settle anyway. im doing mine soon as well and im just having my uncle help me out. its cheaper that way haha

there has to be half a dozen guys in your area that know how to install springs, hit them up for pizza and beer to do the job, make a day of it,get to know people in your Scion community and have fun and save your money.
3 weeks later take to local shop for alignment and save your money.
It really is easy to change them out, anyone who has done it once can show you how to do it.

I see ur in LI so I know every toyota dealer out here, toyota dealers will charge u roughly about 400/500 to install springs. any other rinky dink shops will charhe u anywhere between 200/400. not worth it IMO

there are a few dealerships out there that aren't "stealerships"
but those are ones that are few and far in between..
a reasonable price would be around $150-200 though to give you an idea.

there was a DIY write up on one of the scion forums IDK which forum but I remember using it to do my struts/springs and It was easy just take your time. Its something you can do with your friend and some beer (not too much though) takes maybe 3-5 hours depending on how quick you work.
ill try to find it for ya. Just rent a spring compressor from auto zone and have your torque wrench and basic tools and your good to go.

$200 isn't bad. It's a great learning experience and I would recommend doing it yourself if you have the time and the tools. If you have any friends that have lowered vehicles I would see if they'd help you out.
