Hi, I'm planing on painting my bsp 08 tc when i get back from Iraq in a few months. I found some awesome ideas around the forums and was wondering if anyone had some good ideas or pics they could share of their paint jobs.
I was also wondering if you guys could help me find a pic of a car I saw a long time ago but I can't seem to find again here on the forums, its really hard for me to search through the picture threads on my amazing internet here but i can handle some.
Anyway the pics I'm looking for are of a tc top half black with a silver stripe down the body line from headlight to tail light then below that another color I believe it was orange. I really loved this idea and was thinking of doing something similar but maybe a dark dark green on the lower half.
I would love to find this car again so I can show my uncle who paints cars so he can also give me his ideas and also what kind of cost we would be looking at.
oh yeah and my stock rims should be getting powder coated black shortly, not planing on changing that.

 

Dont do a two tone im on my second color already just pick a color u like not a color everybody else likes..

well my buddy helped me with his photo shop skills after i showed him my "amazing" MS Paint work. so this is about what i was thinking.of course i wont have the sweet wheels or other mods but its just to get an idea of what it might look like. comments?

just give him some credit for using his picture. i think it'd be pretty bad@$$ if you did a gradient from the black top progressing to a green bottom.

oh noes he found the thread lol. cool man, yeah your car looks amazing, i saw the way the 2 tone thing went so well with that body line and just fell in love.

hhmm the gradient thing sounds interesting, i will definitely give it some thought. it would definitely look sweet on the sides.... im trying to imagine how it might work on the front and back tho, it might be tricky.

good news from my uncle, his price estimate is way lower than i was hoping (it helps to work for a major paint company) and he says it would be no problem and is excited to see how it will turn out. I will definitely have to run the gradient idea by him.

oooohhh you don't know how tempting that is for me. I painted my last car (91 Accord) all dark green and i loved it. kinda wana try something a little more.... complex than just a solid color.

 

hmm..maybe some kind of a yellow? always wanted to see a yellow tC
