What do you guys think about this new unit by Eclipse? I'm considering getting this for my xB but am still reading up on all the specs & reviews. I've had an older AVN unit in my F150 for the past 4 years and love it. Definantly a quality piece of equipment. Anyways, post your comments.. thoughts.. or maybe reviews if you have it!

it's gunna be great. I'm waiting on this to drop too so I can get it.

Not sure you mentioned it but I think it comes with a back up camera as well.. or maybe that's an option as soon as it's release.

playing dvd-rw is mainly what I'm looking for besides the storage space.

The price should be around $1200-$1300 from what I've been told, which is not bad at all!!

Eclipse has been teasing us with this unit for a while now. I have the Scion Navigation, but someday I plan to sell it and change it for something with RCA outputs. I also like the ability to upgrade the maps and play iPod videos. You could convert a bunch of movies and put them on an iPod instead of having to lug around a bunch of discs.

I've got my Scion Nav sounding pretty good now, but you know how it is... I either want this unit or the Alpine IVA-w505/P1. They're about the same price so it's a tough competition between the two. Have you seen the Allpine?

not sure if you got your answer by now but it is not plug and play. i just checked recently for my tC and they updated the harness. no longer using toyota style plugs.
