I have that heat shield foil under my hood but apparently not enough. So i bought what i thought was the same stuff but this stuff is backed with fiber glass. Will it work. The package says its for under hoods and crap.

a friend of mine used the non-adhesive backed than used spray adhesive and it held up for about a month before falling down - maybe the adhesive backed would be better - ud think the adhesive that comes on it would be made for high heat enviroment

 

i wasnt so much worried about the adhesive as i was the material itself. the stuff i have on there now dosent have the fiber glass backing
