Default Bosch 110 bpv owners

i need your opinion between the 110 and stock bpv. i searched about everyone's response but the one thing i wanted to know is if it is proven that the 110 is better than the 102. i also heard that the mpg went down, and if so i wanted to know by how much it went down. the thread that was up was posted 2 years ago so i wanna know if anyone running the 07+ s/c felt any difference. thanks!

the main reason people swap out there stock bpv to the 110 is because they upgraded there pulley. the stock bpv will only hold 7 psi and the 110 will hold 10-11 psi i think. if ur not swapping out ur pulley i wouldnt get it. but if u do get a pulley u might want to switch it cuz stock will pour any boost that goes over 7 psi. and hey quick note, if u get a new pulley start saving up for new bearings and shaft cuz the pulley is where it mostly starts.

the 110 should have better springs, less 'leakage', then the stock 102. The 110 has the appearance of being stock so wouldn't be noticed if car is in the shop.
From what i've heard/felt on the wife's car, the 110 has a more noticeable 'pop' then the 102, which leads me to believe it is working better. rarely did i hear the 102 when we were running thru the gears. I doubt mileage is affected; going sc over stock drops the mileage, a bpv shouldnt affect it any.
We are running stock pulley on hers

102 starts giving out at around 3-5 psi while the 110 can hit the 7 psi at redline.

0 280 142 110 same as the 102 just 110 at the end.

the 110 is much better built inside. the 102 spring is easy to push in and has a lot of slop from side to side (boost leak all the time) the 110 has a stiffer spring and no slop at all. the bpv was my first mod to the s/c. boost comes in earlyer 1.5-2psi at 2500rpm and starts to raise at 3500rpm all the to red line with the 102 i got 0psi till i hit 3800rpm then i would only get 3-4psi and the it would start to raise at 4500rpm to redline and throttle response picked up with the 110 becouse of a little boost at a lower rpm. as for mpg maybe 1-2mpg loss but not that much. verry good mod for the s/c stock or modded.

not right now i have th nst 9.5psi on but at first it was stock pulley. but all the info i posted above was with the stock pulley. right now with the 9.5 and the 110 bpv at wot i can 2-3psi at 2500rpm and at 4000rpm im hitting 5psi and climbs to 9.5psi at redline
