What is the normal price for an alignment? I called Toyota and they want $90, I think I can get one for cheaper than that.

paid 90 for mine to be done at a dealer. another dealer was going to do it for 70 but they didnt have the right adapter for my rims but im glad they didnt do it since the mechanic didnt look all that great. plus they ran me out of the tech area. when i go for oil changes (free btw) its the same guy every time and we just bs with each other and hes cool with that. this other guy had a manager come up to me and tell me i had to wait in the lounge because of insurance reasons even though i was standing outside of the bay area.
wont be going back to them for any major service and as far as oil changes, only if my buddy is there

Same here. I've paid anywhere between $59.99 + tax and $74.99 + tax. It just depends on where you go. I typically would not go to the dealer, they tend to charge more.

I just got mine done at the dealer (Sun Toyota). A 4-wheel alignment was $59.95

Like others have said, most shops seem to range from $60-80. However, most of them have deals where you can pay a bit more and get alignments for x number of years or 'lifetime'. I could've paid $79 bucks for one alignment, but decided to give them $119 for 3 years to get alignments whenever and as many as I want.

Everyone pretty much got it. But here's a breakdown

Local shops: $60-$80
Firestone: $80 for 1 time, $150 for lifetime
Big O Tires/Merchant Tires/NTB/Tire Kingdom have single alignment prices along with 1 year, 2 year, and 3 year plans.

Prices also vary between each store chain. ie: Firestone in SJ charges $150 for lifetime, whereas Milpitas charges $160, and they're neighboring cities too.

90's a little high, but any time you get basic service done at a dealership it helps the resale value. If your into tuning your Scion, I'd suggest trying to find a National Tire and Battery, or a place that offers a similar deal.

I just paid $95 there for my alignment but have unlimited free alignments for the next 6 months/6,000 miles (whichever comes first). You can pay $199 and get unlimited alignments for 5 years/50,000 miles as well. Thats an awesome deal for someone interested in getting the max out of their suspensions, or likes changing up their wheels. The one in my town keeps ramps in the garage for guys like me.

Any shop with an electric alignment rack will give you a good line. Ask for a printout of the results to keep for your records. 60-90 would be an average price. Much higher or lower and your prolly getting scammed. If your lowered, Toyota may not be able to get you on the racks.

All depends on the machine too. STS in my area in Jersey has an awesome alignment machine. I paid 135 for mounting, balancing, and alignment on my new tires.

and i think i might look into this.. i rather pay 150 once and go as many times as needed than pay 60-90 bucks each time

some places charge more if youre on an aftermarket suspension part whether it is coilovers or springs/struts. i had to pay $20 more because im on coilovers, though in reality, its the same process completely identical to as if you were stock (unless you use camber plates, but they usually dont touch those).
