according to that, the over difference in diameter is .84 of an inch, so it shouldn't...

They might rub. I currently have some 225/50 on my stockies and im rubbing like a b****. But then again. i am also slammed. I got them for free until i finish up my new wheels. So you might be ok with your drop.

You should definitely try to stay with 45 aspect ratio though, so you won't throw off your speedometer.

Why going for bigger tire size and staggered if i may ask?

im not going for staggered, i just wanted to know if either of those sizes fit, the reason i wannna get a bigger tire is to fill my wheel gap in the back. i kinda dont want to go any lower, i do scrape in the front wheni go down my driveway, its just the back. so what do guys suggest 215 50, 225 45, or 225 50

just get 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 if those are cheaper but no need to get 50's.

if you want to fill the gap and hope not to rub, then you can probably do 215/50
