I was thinking about getting this but wanting to know if it produces good tight bass, or is there something similar but cheaper out there?

What sub do you guys recommend under $200?

My amp is alpine mrp-m450.

Anybody have an opinion on this?

What sub enclosure do you guys recommend for the spare tire area then?

eh idk might rattle and are you gonna put that floor mat over it? cuz that wouldnt be good and i dont like what it looks like with thoes spaces on the side. if your really commited to car audio you can take it to your local car audio place and ask to see how much they could build you a fiberglass one for.

I'm not overly committed, but I do have a sub under the seat that I got from them and I just would like to have a little more and in a different location.

does this one need to have the spare tire removed? I've seen these around but the spare was still in place, but they were a bit smaller.

I pretty sure I would have to take the spare out, but that is ok with me since I have AAA.

What sub do you have? The subs that those boxes are made for are on the lower end of the ED spectrum I believe, so if you dont have the subs it made for you may not get the sound you are looking for out of it.

If you call Alex at ED and ask him what 'open box' they have for you specific sub, he will make you a good deal.

I have the 110v.2 subs. the box designed for them is around 100 bucks shipped. I got a 'open box' enclosure for literally half the price and it was the box that is designed for my subs.

I had Elemental Design build me one for under the front passenger seat, it's just an 8.

do they also make one for the under the driver seat? I only see one for the passanger. I would assume it could work under either one, correct?

I would think it would be the same dimensions.

I emailed ED about it, they said the drivers seat would need to be modded in order for it to work. It'd be sweet if they would just work the same, but oh well.
