Default tire question?

ok well i figured i would ask here and find out. tried searching but what i was looking for didnt come up. well im looking at a set of used wheels. that have brand new tires kuhmo 225/45/17 question is will having a 225/45/17 with a 17x7 rub at all with me being lowered on htechs? i mean wheels size wise i know im fine. just curious about the tire size. thanks

You'll be fine man. You should have no rubbing issues. I'm currently on TRDs which is only an inch drop... and planning to go with htechs... thats only another half an inch. Its still plenty of room. From what I can see and hear and was recommended... Htechs give you that just right drop. I'll even have 225/40/18 tires and 18x7.5 rims.

yea htechs do give a great drop. and i already ahve had them installed for like a month now. just curious about the 225/45/17 tires.

225/45/17 is the stock tire size... well at least on my car it is. So yes it will work fine with that tire size.

but you can increase rim size and lower your tire tread size to avoid rubbing. So yo can basically off set it. :D But the lower your tread size... the bumpier your ride will be.
