What is the average so called documentation add-on fee others were suprised with?
I was hit $195.00 from my local dealer. :flame:
I was assured this was the going rate in my area
Glenn in New Orleans is only $50.00
I would rather spend $145.00 on a room and see the sights.
I don't want to put the dealers on the spot or anything. Its just I'm willin to take a road trip for MY xB.
My wife took the first one. :love: Does this amount have anything to do with the state you purchas a car in?

This should be negotiable, or if not, taken out of the price of the car. I'm posting under my GF's username, but she was, quite frankly, HOSED by her dealer on the rims they put on her tC. 18" no names which probably weigh 30lbs, wrapped in nankangs or some other korean crap tire I can't remember (some kumhos are OK , but these are not kumhos). How much? $$$2,500$$$ :tap: I got there when the deal was done, and saw a row of corollas wearing stock tC rims/tires. Grrr.

I paid an average of $25 doc fee on my xB's. Don't believe it if they say something like "law sets it at this point" 'cause that's their way of saying they charge the maximum allowed by law :wink:
