I've searched and i've searched and some are saying yes, and some are saying no. So i just thought that I would go to the pros. lol, do I need a relay harness for a 55W Hid kit?

I heard they are pretty tricky to install also.

Yea it's safer on your electrical system to use them. And they aren't tricky to install at all. Mobile HID kits come with them.
