Go turbo?

Unless you can find a used one (check the Classifieds), TRD discontinued it.

go turbo...just look around the forums and ull find that people go threw several TRD sc's. unless u get the rebuild kits. but people are selling their turbo kits for 1800+...i would jump on those if I was you.

What do you man you have a hard time finding it. You mean to buy it? Or hard time trying to find one that fits? Either way go turbo. S/c doesn't give you much of gains plus it's discontinued. Going Turbo there's always room to upgrade.

That SC was the worst decision i ever made.
Idle Pulley went bad. Then bearing went bad.
Never made enough power. It gets laugh by turbo guys.

I should have got a Ptuning turbo.

the supercharger was fine so long as it was installed properly, key word there is properly. over a year with mine, 25k miles, drove cross country, autocrossed, drag raced and it never gave me a single issue.

Since it's been discontinued your best bet is eBay or parts forum. Most likely you'll end up with a used one. If you get a used one then I would defiantly recommend the refurbish kits.. ceramic bearings, seal, shaft... etc

Save yourself the headaches and go with something else, I'm on my fourth SC and its leaking oil, unless you plan on rebuilding the kit before you put it on the car save yourself the trouble.

About 2 months ago I got the last one that was in the Dealer Network for my wife's 2005 TC. Well there was one in New Jersey, but the guy couldn't put his hands on it. I don't know how you misplace a 65lbs box. I also got the last AT fitment kit in the nation, I got it from Hawaii. so if you have an AT then you need to break out the torch and bend some metal. You can get them off of ebay but they are most likely used and don't have all the parts.

Good Luck.

Then I'd suggest you crunch the numbers and see if buying new parts for a turbo vs finding a used S/C etc which would be better.

I hear ya though, that's why I have a S/C.. I started wanting only N/A power but then decided S/C over turbo b/c of the parts I already had that would have been wasted with a turbo.

My friends selling one,

It has the "gompka" Shaft Kikicaffine Ceramic bearings. He had a shop do it all, then bought a turbo kit!

His name on here is tCman300hp
