Default Rear brake fitment problem..

I recently purchased slotted stoptech rotors and i have 3/4 on. but my rear passenger side rotor/pads/something doesnt fit. its almost as if the pad is too thick or the rotor isnt seated as far back as it can go. the piston is completely compressed, its the outer pad thats to thick or whatever.. im pretty sure its not the pads because they are all the same thickness on each side of the car.. anyone else have this problem changing their brakes?
