Default Passenger front and back floors soaked

I have yet another problem with my '05 xA.

When it rains/snows my passenger floor is getting soaked and my mats freeze to the floor overnight. It's not a standing puddle, just a wet carpet but bad enough that it soaks into the mats.

It seems to only happen after I drive and not while parked. I had an accident two years ago into that front right bumper area and also a major hit from behind 5 years ago.

Any suggestions on what might be clogged, blocked, or disconnected if it wasn't caused by one of the accidents? Is there something I can inspect for problems before bringing it in to be looked at?

I'd hit up a local shop with a lift and get it up in the air. Sounds like you got an opening somewhere, likely towards the front near the right wheel.

Sounds like they forgot to put in/replace the floor plug. It may have been knocked out in the accident , they fill in the holes they have for the crumple zones.

When I was building Toyotas at the factory if you missed putting one in, the car would be filled with water during the pressure water test, did alot of those clean ups.

Frog,
That sounds like it could be the problem. I'm not sure how long after, but after one of the two accidents the leak began. I wanted my insurance to cover it since I used one of their shops, but if they find it was not caused by the accident I have to pay out of pocket for the time they put into digging around, which he said can be a very involved/expensive process.

Is it an expensive thing to fix if that's all it is?
Toyota said they would look around when I come in for an oil change to see if they can find the problem.

The plug from the dealer, if thats it , should be around .75 to 3.00.

you could find it , if it is missing , by pressing on the carpet the hole can be from 1" to 3 " in diameter. think it should be about center of the floor space , thats where most Toyotas put 'em.

Will probably cost more to have them look for it at what $75 to $99 an hour than to just look your self and replace it
