Default Adjust FPR with Car Off and Walbro

I installed a Walbro 255lph fuel pump with fuel return line and adjustable fuel pressure regulator (stock injectors for now). I am worried that I will not be able to start the car due to the new fuel pump. If I turn over the ignition after priming the new fuel system, can I adjust the fuel pressure without having the car on? Any info will help - thanks!

you need to start the car to adjust fuel pressure, there will be no pressure when the car is off.. its gonna be common for the car not to start coz most preset on the fpr is very low compared to the 3bar stock pressure, if thats the case.. adjust the **** gradually until the car fires up.. once the car now idles then you can adjust it further as desired

So you mean let the ignition crank over so i can hear the pump going but not the engine running?

it would be very helpful to have a fuel pressure gauge on the fpr or youll never know what your idle pressure is. Then shoot for around 43-45 psi then ccut the car off and pull the plugs on the ecu, plug them back in and let it sit to relearn. also, plugging in the vacuum line to the fpr will give you 1 psi fuel per 1psi boost so make sure your fuel map is adjusted for this if possible. AKA just watch your AFR and make adjustments. Worse case scenario its going to be rich, so just dial it back gradually in the upper rpm region.
