Has anyone seen this XB lately? It was from Florida ( 4 years ago+-) and the story was that someone fron the New England area bought it for a college car for thier kid. ( It's one of the first picture in the "Best Looking XB" thread. )

Just curious what ever happend to it. It was one of my favorite XB and the first XB to have 20" wheels.

It would be a shame if someone has re-painted this XB. I think Bob paid over $2000 to have the graphics painted by some famous hot rod painter and the Veilside kit looked great too.

That would be crazy to buy for a college kid, What college kid has the time or money to properly care for a box that nice?

I was thinking the same thing the other day Barry, I was having a convo with someone about the blue xB with the wood on it (the real wood) from the first SSO at CFL Toyo back in 04...
Damn, Talk about the good old days

I had to go back and look for the JDM on that box. Still can't find any.

Original owner was a great guy and an old school hot rodder. He had quit a few other cars including a 32 ford roadster and a 40 chevy sedan and could care less about JDM. He used to wear a pair of sneaker he had painted hot lava to shows (thats him in back of the XB).
Forgive the noobs.
It's still a great amount of work and effort to make that box, even if it doesn't suit my style either.
Can't hate on those 20"s!
