All it took was one trip up the hill to Flagstaff and back.

Here's how the air flows around the mirror - just follow the bug tracks

It was lots of fun driving into a low sun with this crud on the screen.
Only washed off the next day in the driveway.

This is the only draw back for warm weather... bugs. =[ I noticed a bunch of dead Mosquitoes on my front bumper today too... not as noticeable on a BSP... but man you can see it clear as day on white.

ohh yeah its the worst time of the year. We have love bugs here.. they are kamikaze bugs and they are attracted to white objects splat and explode all over the car its a pita and if you keep them on without cleaning they are impossible to clean off.

I clay and wax my car and some of the residue is still there especially on the mirrors. they are seasonal we get them 2x a year and they usually come out in the day so there is no avoiding bugs day or night you have to get to your destination before noon or else.

effn hate these things

Dear god I wish that love bugs didnt exist... the windshield of my car already looks like beaches of normandy in 1944 and it doesnt help that twice a week my commute is on a 2 mile bridge over a lake

I drove through that same swarm on that Friday afternoon, saw you northbound on hwy 5 when I was heading south, then again Sunday evening when you were heading south and I was returning north. Your paint job looked good from a distance, and sure is easy to spot.

They are getting bad in bama. I bought the new external detailer from Meguiars and am using it as soon as the car gets washed. Hopefully itll help this summer with the bug protection.

Try a motorcycle -- you end up with your faceplate encrusted with those things (you have to be a little careful about breathing in at times as well )!

OMG, I hate those "love bug" things. Last year they kept using my xB as a hideout. I would come back to my car to find the were chilling in my rear bumper, hatch and tails. I had to take out the tails and bumper and shake them all out then painter's taped my entire rear end so there was no way for them to get back in. I fraking hate them!
