I made these using small projectors, not bad at all, only thing is that I feel they were angled a bit towards the left and not the middle. The tabs were in the way. I might redo them, but for now it looks good.

 

nice but it looks like the projectors would break pretty easily

 

if somehow retrofitted on a apt/vrd ...it would be sweet

What kind of projectors did u use?

 

not really feeling it.
like it was said, youd be better off putting it inside of a vrd housing.
it would look better AND it would be much safer from rocks and other road debris.

THanks guys, Yea it would look better on the vrd housing, I was just tired of blinidng people with the VRDs and having water creep in. The angle of the side vents tend to lean to the left making it hard to make the light flow to the middle. It flows sideways which is ok, gives me more light on the sides. I bought some projectors of ebay and make this work out. Looks good especially at night.

 

maybe im fortunate but i never had water problems on my apt fogs or my girls

 

oh yeah i remember you bought some VRD'/APT's awhile back. that many problems ay? i was going to pick up a set soon myself. ive been reading up a lot on how to prevent fogging and other issues with those fog lamps. nice projectors by the way. better then what you see on here with peoples creative hack jobs.

 

Thanks, I got a new set of APT in my closet, but wanted to try this first. I was just annoyed about the water getting in when it rained or was foggy. It really bugged me. I tried to make it look OEM as possible like cars you see. It shines bright at least and does not blind everyone.

 

projector fogs are pretty cool. i'd put yellow bulbs in them though
