Default 2011 XB parts

Not sure if there is a thread on this yet. But I'm looking for 2011 XB parts. Specifically:
1. The telescoping mechanism for the steering wheel
2. The center console with the larger armrest

Inevtably, the model changed 6 months after I bought the car, and of course I didn't notice how annoying the driving position was during my test drive. I can't justify trading it in on a new one and loosing about 3K, but wouldn't mind buying the parts and installing them, since I love everything else about the car.

So if there are any parts dealers that can buy at cost and sell slightly above, let me know. I'm sure there are plenty of others interested too.

Thanks!

I'm definitely interested in this, too. Whenever I get around to bringing in my xB for the waterpump deal, I might inquire about those parts and see how much it is to order it from the stealership.

The dealership by me wants almost $700 PLUS installation for the whole thing... and that doesn't include the cupholder area because t fits directly on the new one....
CRAZY!!!

Just be patient, and wait for a wrecked one for parts.

I checked the MSRP of the 2008-2010 steering column and it's around $1400 -- discounted to about $1100. So if you can get the new telescoping column for $700, I'm fascinated !

PS. I've just spent the last few days trying to find an optimal seating position and I think I'm pretty much there now. However, I think the telescoping column would be a Godsend (or did they drop out the tilt?)

We can only pray that the tilt feature has not been omitted.

We'll set some traps at Toyota dealerships for anyone who drives off the lot in a 2011. We'll be able to get their parts faster.
