Default Back in a Scion again... this time...

It's better! I had an xB a few years ago.. the first gen.. I liked it ok.. but
didn't really care for the too boxy looks.. was just too strange for me..
So I sold it.. Ended up buying a 2008 Corvette which I still own and
enjoy.. but I needed another car for those times when the vette just
isn't too practical.. So I looked around at some descent commuter cars..
Civic, Corolla and some of the Korean cars that are now everywhere..
Just couldn't bring myself to drive something so boring as the above mentioned econo cars.. So I found a 2009 xD that is in pristine condition..
Took it for a drive and really liked it.. Much better looking than the xB by
a wide margin.. It's also quicker and the interior isn't so quirky..
So I'm back in a Scion and appreciating the quality and all the nice options that come with the car.. it's also fun to drive and the price is really descent
considering what you get..
I think I'll keep this one for awhile..

I picked up the xD used.. It's a 09 with 27K miles on it. It is flawless inside and out.. Someone took real good care of it! I mean there is not a mark on the outside except for a small paint chip on the front bumper. The interior is immaculate! It looks showroom fresh.. I was real lucky to find one this outstanding.. It makes a great runabout and is comfortable and fun to drive..
I looked at many other small cars.. I kept coming back to the Scion as it had the best value and style out of the others I looked at.. This is a very cool little car..

well.. it used to be my daily driver.. I just like having a "beater" car for errands and nasty weather. I like driving the xD.. it is easy to zip around in and park.. It also has a great resale value so when I go to sell it, It won't cost much to own..
I owned an xB with my Z06 a few years ago.. When I sold the xB.. the net cost to own it was $1200 in 2 years! So the xD will also be inexpensive to own.. I just like cars.. This is my 43rd car in about as many years of driving..
It's a sickness... lol.. but you only live once..
