the intake you get at the dealer is an aem piece, the only decent thing about it is that it has a bypass valve if you like to drive through ponds daily...other than that, it has just as many bends as the stock airbox and gives almost no gains, its also expensive as all folk. i picked up an injen short ram for 150 bucks and it sounds great and gives some gains, its probably your best bet

edit: just realized 2 different people asking questions lol, to the orginal poster: see above, and you will have enough money left for a nice axleback exhuast

I put the AEM cai after breaking in my engine and putting bhorla exhaust and 19 inch rims on. After putting it on i felt an immediate difference. Its not like it gave much more as if any little bolt on would, but it made the depth of sound deeper and the gas mileage actually got better. I have heard pretty much the same results from the weapon r, ingen, aem. So if your looking for price i would go with the short ram, but if you don't want the big open space when taking out the stock as i did you might want to got with one of the cold air intakes, well thats my 2 cents if it makes a difference, hope it helps.

if you want style and performance, get the blitz. their filters are known to be the least restrictive. if you want legal, get the aem. but i dont like the setup as there are a lot of bends. the injen is a good since short ram is good for street driving, a weapon r is similar.

I'm rolling with weapon R, and I wrapped with header wrap.... Works PERFECT!! you can actaully feel the extra pull!!! Great BANG for the BuCK!! HOWEVER, keep in mind that Weapon R is kind of a ghetto brand.... It didn't matter to me cuz i was gonna wrap it up anyway....

however, if your looking for some under the hood BLING, and wililng to dish out enough money, INJEN / K&N typhoon is the way to go! Can't go wrong with either one!

You gotta go with the Typhoon.....it's the most bang-for-your-buck.
