I hope this is the right section but the time has come to get new brake pads...what would everyone recommend as far as some nice brake pads...maybe a little more bite than stock but not ceramic?
I recently bought Hawk brakes from Dezod. I am very impressed. Perhaps we would feel the full potential of the new pads if we changed our rotors but we didn't. Overall I am happy. They are quite and they work well.
I personally love the Axxis Ultimates. I will be getting another set as soon as possible. They do squeal but you get used to it, and its only during very light braking. And they do make alot of dust, but my car was never a show car so I didnt care.
Well Dezod sells two versions. The track one and the street one. The street one does not squeal at all unless improper installation. It even claims, OEM quality sound or something along that line. Basically its the economic version with a great bite. But I must admit, we got new Michelin tires so...yea tires make a majority of the difference.
