Well this is some thing to me, and hoping I can get some insight. I bought a complete rs1 lip kit, and im planning on painting it myself, but I don't know how much paint I would need. I was thinking around 6 12oz aerosol cans would be enough, what do you guys think...more or less?

got it from EDDIEA123 its in pretty good shape, but ya i want to know how much paint i need...i want to order it by monday.

right now im thinking along the lines of.

4-Base Coat
3-Primer
2-Clear Coat
1-Adhesion Promoter

800 grit, 1000grit, 1,200grit wet/dry

it not easy match the car color. take it to the shop and i think is worth it.

i know you can get the same paint, but it's not easy to match them when you just paint the lip and put it on. you have to paint the bump as well to make it looks match.
