Hatch Glass Replacement
So I woke up just a bit ago to a sound of a smash and peeling out tires. Me being paranoid I went out and checked the car. And a nice landscaping block went through my hatch glass.
I have a spare one, and wanted to see how easy it would be to swap out.
Otherwise I'd have to pay Safelite like $300 and change, and they wouldn't be able to be out till Wednesday, well according to Geico at least.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well depending on how experienced you are with that.
You need to make sure it's perfectly sealed.
You're better swapping the hatches actually.
For the window you'd probably need a professional.

yea I've called some "24" hour places and many are saying Tuesday. Unless I wanna pay the emergency price. I'm going check out the project car tomorrow and see what it's looking like. But probably just swap it out. Gonna have some fun dealing w/ the glass though. My tint's holding it up minus where the brick went through.
So after only $100, I found someone to come by, pull my other window and re-install it. I gave him a nice tip for coming out on the 4th. If you have the right tools it's a pretty straight forward install.
