Does anyone have a template for the rear bumper protector/applique for the tC?

Or if someone has the actual protector to trace it onto paper and scan it in.

I don't think you would need a template for a bumper protector install. I remembered a year ago when I installed that on my friends tC the film paper for the 3M protector had a center locating notch. I just centered that to the striker of the trunk latch and lined the top edge of film paper to the rear bumper contours near the weather strips to straighten it out on the surface. It came out decent.

 

well i'm trying to get a template so that I can make my own. I don't really want the clear one.

Potential material I'm looking at is

-black sticker
-really thin rubber/silicone

 

If anyone has it please let me know. I don't even need it in perfect condition. It can be folded up and shoved in a letter sized envelope .

 

How hard is it to install this without having it turn out crappy? I have always wanted to do this but worried about how it would come out.

I'm looking for just a pattern. Like for someone to take the existing bumper applique and trace it on a big piece of paper.

Not really sure what you're trying to install... unless you mean the little plastic guides that the dealership uses to install them.
