View Full Version : How to remove front pillar?

Im gonna be instaling an Autometer gauge pod and Im wondering how to remove the pillar so I can drill the holes I need for the gauge pod. Can someone please tell me how to remove it.

just pull it with gentle/steady pressure its held in place with push in clips.

You don't have to drill the holes and use the pins. I used a strong glue and hot glue and put them together. I then dyed both front pillars to match. The pins are noticable in my friends WRX.

So where did you run your wires thru for the gauges if you didnt drill thru the stock pillar?

The wires should feed up between the pillar and the pod at the top of the dash. Also to reinstall the pillar cover it is easier if you pull the weather strip off and reinstall it once the pillarcover is snaped back in place

What I am wondering is whether or not I read the clock on that track right. Was that a 1/4 mile in 10.7 in a box? Or, was that the 1/8 mi.

That speed was custom made in photoshop. That is what it says on his page
