What are your guy's thoughts on this issue. Being a Catholic, I think its a very disrespectful thing to do. This issue IF it goes through on 9/11 will open up a full on Holy War and with it happening on U.S. soil we become a target even more now. Am I alone on this? If this topic is too much, Im sorry and I'll take it down.

What's prompting him to do this? Is it because of the plans to build that mosque at Ground Zero?

my opinion is that its a tribute to him for 9/11. Worst mistake ever.

I just like reading the comments and realizing how many ridiculously ignorant people there are that actually support this man, and believe that all muslims are to blame for 9/11. It just confuses me and makes me mad at the same time. I just don't get it.

Other religions burn the Christian Bible and American flag so whats wrong with him doing this? This is what he thinks should be done. I'm not saying its right but no one makes a news article on someone burning the american flag or other bibles

Yeah that's my thing. It isn't right regardless of which side is doing it, but you don't see this kind of attention when people burn Bibles.

I feel the same way, but I think this is being made a much bigger deal because of the timing.

the problem is because were literally at war with muslims overseas, and theyre ready to snap at any minute and pull another mass terrorist plot again with even bigger casualties/catastrophies. all these recent terrorist plots were NOTHING like 911, them seeing someone burn a qaran (sp?) will make them plot something worse

This right here...I think its stupid and to put it on a level that that kind of person would understand, its "stooping to their level." Burning a book never accomplished anything, if it did it was make people read it...this has to be the stupidist tribute/ honoring of national tragedy i have ever heard of...this is the reason the rest of the world hates the US because of stupid people like this...

If he wanted to pay tribute ..a better way would be to pool up funds and donate to the various groups for the victims.
