ok ok the NF210s get talked about a lot... but I've never heard anyone actually say they had them or how good they were.

I just put the Tanabe NF210's on this past Tuesday. so far they ride like the stock springs, not too bouncy and not too stiff. the back was to drop 1.2" but it seems to me alot more of a drop than that. the front hasn't settled yet so I can't tell how far it will drop. I'm going to roll my rear fenders, if I have 2-3 people in the back seat I rub a little. other than that I like them alot.

what kinda rims rub with 2 people on a 1.2 or so inch drop?

I had 3 people in the back seat, roughly about 450 pounds. I'm running 18" x 7.5" rims with 215/35/18's. the rims have a +45 offset, I used a 20mm spacer in the rear and I think that is why I have rubbing. if I use a smaller spacer it will solve the rubbing but I like the look the 20mm spacer gives.

I'd have to agree. I took my box over a road that has a
major rhythmic cracks that used to toss my ___ around with
stock setup, but with GoldLine it's more controlled and less
bouncy.

I had the eibach pro kit and that was a stiff ride. I heard they work great for scions with chrome wheels because fo the wieght of the wheels. I am on RS*Rs now, and I love them! :D

Hmm, if wheels are unsprung weight, how does that effect a suspension and the way it travels/handles?

Wheel weight would affect acceleration and hp loss.

I run Goldlines as well. I also have 18x7.5 size Enkei CDR's on mine. I've had 2 or 3 pretty good size people riding in the back and mine doesn't rub at all. I was worried that it would though. With that much weight sitting in the back I can tuck a tad bit of rim in the rear.

A few peeps have run the Tanabe NF210s, and someone has run the Megan springs. Not too many run the Eibachs as the drop is not what some peeps were looking for. Plus their rates were a tad on the harsh side. Someone on here was running the Espilers, but can't remember who. And I haven't seen any of the H&Rs. I tried to get some H&Rs a while back, but had no luck. I have/had a connection for those.

If the inner fender well didn't have all of those bumps and stuff, I wouldn't rub hardly at all. Thankfully its only on U-turns. The top of my wheel well arch is at 23.25 inches.

I have H&R Race Springs on my xA right now. 2.0F/1.8R drop, so it's pretty nice. I can't really comment on the ride, because I'm running Koni yellow adjustable shocks, and I run them on full stiff all the time, so the ride is bumpy all the time :)

unsprung weight is allthe components the cars sets on. rims and tires most notibly but rotors or drums calipers pads shoes they are all unsrung as well. the lighter you can make these parts the better the suspension works. when you hit a bump and it starts the whell moving up the springs have to over come the inertia of the wheel and get it under control. when things are light less inertial forces to overcome. breaks work betteras well the angular momentum of the spinning wheel is a lot to over come before it starts to slow the car. lighter the better.
when you drive in the public streets and not on a smooth race track ( even racers are going this route) you do not want stiff shocks. it is better to have shoft shocks if you can adjust them you would want to set them for the softest recoil and stiffest rebound. even race cars or set up this way and they run on realitivly smooth surfaces. soft recoil big swaybars and good springs are they way to go. shocks and settings is where you get stiff or bouncy ride from. shocks controll the springs to stiff bumpy to weak or worn out bouncy. unless you put springs on that are designed for a heavier vehicle. not like the ones we have to choose from. if you do not like they way your car rides look towards you shocks
