Default Dilemma...

OK, so here's the scenario: I have two sets of after market rims, but can only keep one. I've got a set of 17" Enkei EVO 5 (Gold with a polished lip) wheels, in good shape but just need new tires really. The other is a set of 18" TRD wheels (Silver), that have some annoying curb rash on two of them, and possibly needing new tires. No drop currently on the car (hopefully soon), so that factors in. So I'll keep one, and sell the other is basically is. Just a tough choice is all.

Thanks for reading, and for any advice I can get!

TRD Rims all the way! Take your tires off and sand down the road rash & then take the rims & get them powder coated = WIN WIN

Id keep the trds also. with a gooood drop the 18s will look good, and you can fix the curb rash like nrgwar said

I love those 17's...
getting tires for those TRD wheels can get expensive in comparison to the 17's just saying...

Run both for a week or two see which one you like better.

Enkei EVO 5's look wayyy better, especially in bronze. Good call, 17's vs 18's isnt that big of a deal, pick which ones look better. Easy choice.

Yeah, this is definitely a tough choice. The TRD's have always been a favorite of mine, and I like the EVO's too. A few things with the TRD's are: One, I'd hafta get the curbage fixed, and who know's how much that would be; Two would be me probably needing new tires, and Three...runnin those would make me almost obligated to upgrade, or at least beautify my rotors/calipers! haha

Also, I would probably get more selling the TRD's. Such a tough choice! haha Thanks for the input, definitely seems like it's split.

TRD's are just bland... (If these are the ones im thinking of.)

They're a 5 spoke no lip rim silver, pretty basic.

Enkei EVO5's on the other hand are a unique color, have a nice lip, and are just plain different.

What colors your tC?
