ok so i'm lowered on stechs. would a 18x9 +38 or a 18x9 +15 fit in there WITHOUT rubbing? i daily drive my car so i dont want it to rub. also which set up would look better?

ps. i know there is that tire fitment or w.e. sticky in the wheels and tire section, but since i have no clue about this i cant do nothing with it. Thanks in advance.

 

Since nobody has chimed in yet, I will give you my guess. If you are on Stechs a 18x9 + 15 definitely sounds like you will rub. +38 sounds aggressive still, you might have to run some neg camber. My guess, and anybody correct me if I'm wrong.

You will rub, for 18x9 +15 you will need to roll your fenders.

 

then 18x8 +38 would be my best choice correct?

18x8 +38 front
18x8 +8 back

You will need to shave/roll and some camber to make those fit. Too much work, just get the right set up from the get go.

 

^x2 You will rub at the offsets posted. Tire stretch will help and camber, fender roll if you don't want to camber so much.

 

Ha, I could imagine what would happen with the 19x8.5's I'm looking at with s-techs.

 

ok so then 17X8 +35 should do fine without any modification or camber right?

 

It'll fall under the tucked category but you'd probably still have to either do a slight tire stretch or fender roll to clear, unless you want to put little more negative camber. If the size is more aggressive than ?x7.5 +42 or ?x7 +45(these are the optional and OEM width specs respectively) and the car is lowered most likely a tire stretch, fender roll, or some camber will resolve clearance issues.
