Default Rear Wheel Slanted

Hi All,

Noob here. My rear wheel is tilted inwards. My shop tried to tell me it was the rear axle but I know there isn't actually a rear axles. What would be causing this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Is it camber or toe?

Camber - top of wheel tucks in

Toe - front of wheel points inwards

Is the car modified in any way or did it sustain suspension/frame damage?

It would be camber.

No modifications. I did hit a rather large pot hole that blew out both tires on the right hand side.

Ok, then most likely something was bent from the impact. Either the lower control arm or the upper camber arm. The upper arm should be easy to check since it's esentially a flat piece of steel (google for images). If it's bent, it should be obvious. The lower control arm is harder to tell, but check the bushings where they mount to the rear subframe.

The upper camber arms are somewhat adjustable, as there is a cam bolt where it connects to the subframe. You can correct some camber, but the total adjustment is a bit limited.

Finally, check the rear toe arm as well for and signs of damage/bending. If camber has fallen out, toe likely has too and that's what kills tires.
