I have a "creaking" noise coming from the left rear of the interior someplace, mostly when in left hand corners, or going up a slightly steep, slightly uneven part of the driveway.
Has anyone experienced this, and found a fix?

Try removing your tonneau (cargo) cover in the back and drive around. It you don't hear any squeaks then it might be the metal area that's bending under cornering.
The one in my car makes that sound. I plan to see my dealer to see if I can get it replaced.

do you drive with one or both the rear seats folded down? i found my xa to have the same problem a while ago, and the sounds went away when i put the rear seats back up. the seats must reinforce the frame of the car or sumthing..

ashe,
Samething happen to my cargo cover. It is under warranty. However, I had to wait a week for it to come in. When I asked if I could just pick it up when it arrives and install it myself, they said no. Be prepared to make two trips to the service center.

For the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, even your ashtray is under warranty (as long as you don't break it yourself :P )

haven't checked if the noise happens without the cargo cover, but it doesn't happen is someone (a light teenager) is sitting in the back seat so that affects the structure somehow. btw, it sounds like plastic creaking, not metal. It also happens with the back seats in the upright position - I guess I could see if it happens when they are folded down.
The dealer told me it was the seatbelts not being in the little clip holders on either side of the rear seats, but of course that's not it.
I was going to bring it back to the dealer to fix it, but I wanted to see if it was a common problem that's already been solved, and then I could tell the dealer what to do.

turns out that the creaking noise happens in the right rear only when the right rear seat back (wider one) is in upright position... anyone fix that problem?

tried that - took off the rear cover and it still happens - it only goes away when the right rear seatback is folded down...
