I recently bought a second hand steering wheel to start on my project car. The only problem is I don't have the harness that actually plugs into the air bag. Pictures can be seen below, was wondering if you have a part number? The steering wheel came from a 2002 Toyota bB






I am assuming I need something like on the back of this wheel.

 

xB uses 2 plugs for the airbag.



They seem to be an integral part of the spiral cable assembly:

 

So it doesn't look like my steering wheel is from a bB or XB as it only has one input for a plug?

 

It could be from bB. Their airbag system is slightly different from xB's.

 

Looks bB to me, I was gonna get a bB wheel for my box last year but noticed this about the airbag plugs being different.

You'll probably have to get a spiral coil assembly from a NCP30 bB also for it to work. Or just say screw it, throw some resisters in there to turn off the airbag light and drive safe lol.
