Baffled :(
I had my custom made baffles all finished and mounted, but when I went to test fit the panel, the bottom wouldn't go down. I discovered the bottom corner of the baffle is pushing against the door panel pocket. Gah!
In an attempt to keep the back of the speaker (IDCTX65CS) distanced away from the window, I may have added too much thickness. This would include:
3/4 mdf baffles like these
1/4 speaker gasket
1/4 baffle gasket
1/8 CLD (under baffle)
so that's a total of about 1 3/8 or so, plus the speaker itself.
Any idea what the max thickness can be for the baffles? I'm going to take off all the foam and see how it fits....damn door pocket.
