I installed mine today and I am beyond a novice at it. It is real real easy. Took me 30 mins becuase I was running around for tools and all, should take even less. Can't get over the difference in look and fell while driving. TO pay what the dealer wants to install this is ridiculous. DIY!

If you're cheap you can get the wheelskinz cover, they make them to fit the scion and I believe you can get orange to match the lava. $30 definitely beats $250, even if it looks a little wierd.

Another option is the JDM white steering wheel cover.

i'm not cheap when it comes to my car, but you can get a momo one for that much... just want to keep my car stock looking though. figure the steering wheel can be one of the last finishing touches since it's kinda expensive. those wheel covers are going to look hella ghetto and that jdm white cover is just a wheel cover you can get at walmart, i've seen white ones that look just like it over there.

think i'ma just wait, i was looking at the momo evolution steering wheel, still gives it a stock look, don't really have much steel looking stuff in my interior. hopefully the price will come down on the scion steering wheels. :D

I bought the Factory one fromSCION (gray and black). My local place offered it for $229 plus I used my $50 SCION gift card that they sent me. So it was $179, plus 10 bucks for the steering wheel puller at PEP BOYS. If you want PM me, and I will give you the link to their site. They are the cheapest i could find but it'll probably need to be shipped to you. It really is easy and comes with moron-friendly instructions with illustrations. It honestly feels like a different car now, just need some leather seats to go with it.

To me, those wheelskins just look awful and eventually it works its way off.
