STEERING WHEELS
Last weekend at the NorCal PCH cruise there were a couple of scions with the leather steering wheel option. It looks and feels way better than the stock wheel (not that the stock one is bad or anything) It's about 40% thicker in diameter than the standard wheel. I'm considering getting one in the future, but I heard that it costs somewhere around $300, and I don't think that includes the installation labor. I imagine installation could also be rather expensive if they have to re-pack the airbag to install the new wheel.
I did happen to take one picture of the leather steering wheel option from a car I saw at the cruise

the air bag comes out as a unit. no repacking needed. it just unbolts.
Is this something a Do-It-Yourselfer could do?
With the factory leather wheel, do thy just sell you the leather trimmed wheel itself? What I'm trying to find out is if they it also comes with the horn/airbag assembly.
If the last 2 answers are yes, my final question is:
I can see the screw holes on the right and left spokes of the steering wheel, but is there a screw for the bottom spoke of the steering wheel?
Thanks
I opted for the gray leather steering wheel when i bought mines....i love it! it feels great and looks awesome! it did cost around $300, but that was added to the price of the car and came out to like $2 extra a month for the car. so, i was like what the hell....
