Default Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve

I was wondering if when you apply voltage to this mechanism is it supposed to spin constantly until it is disconnected from a power source?

I was testing mine and it moved very slightly and never moved until power was disconnected and then reconnected.

TIA

^^^ROFL!!!^^^

To the OP, what are you attempting to do? Do you have reason to suspect that your camshaft timing control valve is faulty?
