Hey Guys I was wondering. I have a 2011 TC and I wanted to get the satelite radio installed in it. How many pieces do I have to buy to make it work with the stock head unit? And If any of you have done this how does it sound/ Work? Thanks

I didn't do the install myself, but the sound is great and works perfectly with my Alpine HU. I would never go back to regular radio.

Not sure exactly. Added it to the car before I bought it. I think it was $200-$250.

Bump/ New Question.... I was looking into buying the stock XM unit to go with the alpine radio does anyone know how many parts you have to buy? I was thinking it would be only one thing but TRD Sparks sells two things and it says one is required for the other.

TRD Sparks isn't messing with you. Satellite radio requires 3 things to work. A compatible head unit (which you have), a tuner, and an antenna. Why they don't just sell the antenna and tuner as a kit, I don't know, but you need both to make it work.

Ok Thanks Mighty Sparks didnt really explain what either part was that they sell so I was not sure what I would have been buying.

I ordered the Sirius Interface for Toyota/Lexus Vehicles SIR-TOY1 and the SIRIUS SCC1 Connect Universal Tuner from amazon.com, installed it today in my factory radio and work with no problems. It was a way cheaper way to go, and maintains the factory radio usage. All total this package cost me $141.63 and about 20 minutes to install.

I heard 2012 TC's are different. I have the factory Pioneer unit in my series 7.0.
I am looking to add XM also, but the dealer will only sell the unit with installation. It runs like 500 bucks!
Any help?

Buy it for trdsparks.com and install yourself. As discussed you need the tuner(universal toyota part) and the fit kit(includes antenna).
