Default Brake light???

Ok so recently my brake light comes on when I accelerate from a parked position. But duh my e brake isn't up because I'm driving but when I stop and then accelerate it comes on. Been maybe a month now and it's really bugging. Could it be that my sensor is off!?? Or that something is wrong?? Anyone else have this problem??? Please help. Thanks!!

you're low on brake fluid, probably from low brake pads. the fluid is moving back and forth when you accelerate or brake causing the sensor to trigger the light.

as you're brake pads wear down, more fluid from the master cylinder goes into the brake calipers to push the pads out. i would add just a lil more fluid to the brake master cylinder to get rid of the light temporarily but most likely you need a brake job.

I had that problem too and the fix for it for me in my case was actually tightening up the e-brake line. When I would accelerate or go up a hill the line was loose enough that it was sliding back and tripping the warning light.

Hmm well now that you mention it I do need brake pads. When we put my springs on they were a little low not too bad but yes I will get them changed and more brake fluid and see how that helps!! Thanks guys for all your help :-). Yay!!! I'm a noobie scionlifer and i love it so far :-). I love the PPC part. So much fun stuff to get!!
