Ok i just bought a 2010 XB and it says its satellite ready....what do i need to do to get Sirius on the stock radio?? Im sure i can call Sirius and wheel and deal with them but just wanted a little insight into it before i do. Ive had and external Sirius receiver for a few years but never dealt with a sat ready radio

 

when anything says ''READY'' It is exactly that READY!!! As in you will need to buy the the tuner box with antenna then plug it all in.You will then need to get the code from the sat tuner through the radio and give that to sirius to turn your sat radio on.Anything that is ''READY'' Is only saying it has inputs for ''XXXX' device..Also since you have the factory radio you need the sat tuner kit for that radio from the factory..Maybe hit up a salvage yard or ebay etc to find one for cheap..

No problem and while you are behind the radio might to see if you have any other things you want to hook up ie..ipod,amps etc so you dont have to it all over again
