Does anyone know how to tell if my starter is working - new batt - turn key and nothing

 

does it click? do any of your dash lights come on? if it doesnt click or any of your lights come on then its prob something else. also make sure that the signal wire is attatched to the solenoid. seen that before. test power at the alternator power and ground. should have a good ground and show about 12v at power. also have someone try to start it while testing power at the signal. should show same voltage as someone turns the key. if no power then problem is somewhere else
