hey ya, i'm getting a tC stick shift soon. currently i have an automatic corolla with a remote starter on it, i put it in myself, really easy to do. anyways, i use it all the time.

i was wondering if anyone has a remote start on their tC...i guess you would need a bypass module for the transponder in the key, so you could get something like this http://www.asianwolf.com/item.jhtml?...4&PRID=1344923

it's made for stick shifts, i guess that means that it looks to make sure that the ebrake is actived before it attempts to start and it has an output to trick the car into thinking the clutch is pressed in. now i know you could just do all this yourself with some relays to a regular remote starter, but i'm tired of the hassle, i would rather have a shop do it for me, any idea on how much it would cost to have a remote starter / alarm installed? thanks dudes

 

well i have a automatic ... my remote starter cost me 150 w/ window sensor , and window up. Installation cost me like 75 bills , thats because i knew the guy
